Manchester Names Chief Business Officer

Subscribe NowManchester University has selected Clair Knapp to serve as vice president and chief business officer. Knapp, a native of Fort Wayne, previously served as chief financial officer of Ohio Dominican University and Bethel College.
Knapp succeeds Jack Gochenaur, who retired in April. The university says Knapp will oversee the university’s budget, the Office of Financial Services, information technology services, conference services, food services, physical plant and grounds and student financial services.
"Clair brings a wealth of experience to the position, having worked in manufacturing, public accounting and, for the past seven years, in higher education," said Manchester President Dave McFadden. "I am confident that Clair will help us accomplish our strategic goals and more fully live out our mission."
Knapp is a graduate of the University of Saint Francis and Indiana Wesleyan University.
