Managed Health Services, an Indiana-based health maintenance entity serving Hoosier Healthwise, the Healthy Indiana Plan and Hoosier Care Connect, has named Deb Detro senior director of case management. She previously served as population health manager for American Health Network and a case manager for IU Health. Detro is a member of the Case Management Society of America and the Central Indiana Case Management Society. In her new
role, she will oversee case management operations for the MHS and Ambetter from MHS health plans. Detro received her degrees in business administration and nursing from Indiana University and is currently an MBA candidate with Western Governors University. A registered nurse, she is also a certified case manager and received a certificate in Guided Care nursing from the Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing.
