Carmel-based Mainstreet and Symphony Post Acute Network is celebrating the grand opening of a $20 million transitional care and senior living center in Lake County. The companies say the Symphony of Dyer project has created more than 100 permanent jobs.
Construction began on the center in June 2014. It opened in July. Mainstreet developed the facility and Symphony operates it. The companies say the project created more than 350 construction jobs.
In a release, Mainstreet Chief Executive Officer Zeke Turner said, "Our Next Generation properties are designed to get people well and get them back to work. Symphony of Dyer illustrates not only our dedication to transforming the way health care is delivered to aging Americans but also the coming wave of health care."
