Greensburg-based MainSource Financial Group Inc. (Nasdaq: MSFG) Chief Credit Officer Bill Goodwin has announced his retirement. The company has selected current Commercial Banking Regional President Chris Bower to succeed Goodwin.
Bower has been with MainSource since 2009. Chief Executive Officer Archie Brown says "I am very pleased to have Chris take on this very important role in our company. I have been able to work with Chris for the last seven years and I value his leadership, wisdom and judgment. Chris’s temperament, experience and deep industry knowledge will serve him well in his new role as our next Chief Credit Officer."
The move will take effect November 1, 2016. Goodwin will help Bower transition into the new role and his last day will be April 30.
MainSource has assets of approximately $4 billion and operates 91 offices in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Ohio under the MainSource Bank banner.
