MainGate Partners with Komen and Indy Eleven
Indianapolis-based event retail and merchandising company MainGate has entered into agreements with Susan G. Komen of Central Indiana and IndyEleven. The merchandise agreements begin immediately.
The IndyEleven agreement includes game-day operations for 17 home matches at Lucas Oil Stadium, wholesale opportunities, and a new e-commerce site-Shop.IndyEleven.com, which is expected to launch prior to the team’s home opener on March 31st. MainGate will also develop a line of clothing and merchandise, including t-shirts, headgear, jerseys and scarves to commemorate the team’s inaugural season in the USL. MainGate President and Chief Executive Officer Dave Moroknek says it’s a fantastic opportunity to work with another local franchise. “The Indy Eleven has a very strong following, and with the move to the USL and Lucas Oil Stadium, we are confident our merchandise line will resonate with the fans and help keep the excitement going.”
The agreement with Susan G. Komen of Central Indiana launched in late-February, and will run through November of this year. MainGate will be the on-site partner for the Race for the Cure in April, held in Indianapolis. They will also operate ShopKomenCentralIndiana.com, which will include hats, tees, and gifts emblazoned with the Komen logo.
