Madison is one of eight finalists in the competition, which will also award $2 million and $1 million to the second and third place communities, respectively.

- Darrington/Arlington, Washington
- Huntington, West Virginia
- Lake Havasu City, Arizona

- Valley County, Idaho
The winning communities will be announced at the America’s Best Communities Grand Prize Ceremony, which will begin at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in Denver, Colorado. You can learn more about the competition by clicking here.
