FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Fort Wayne-based Lutheran Life Villages is today celebrating the completion of phase two of a large renovation project at The Village at Anthony Boulevard retirement community.

 Lutheran Life invested $2.3 million over the past two years to renovate the senior citizen residential community.

Officials from the city and from Lutheran Life will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at The Village which has served the senior community since 1962.

The first phase of the multi-year capital improvements project was completed in October 2018. It included re-configuring the Memory Care and Rehabilitation neighborhoods, updating mechanical systems, and renovating Memorial Chapel.  

The second phase included updates to both the interior and exterior of the 56-year-old center, including a new drive-up front entrance with vestibule.
