Indianapolis-based Lumina Foundation has named Brad Kelsheimer chief financial officer. Kelsheimer, who currently serves as senior vice president for finance and administration at DePauw University, will begin his new role June 19.
Kelsheimer succeeds David Maas, who is retiring after 17 years as CFO. Before joining DePauw in 2009, Kelsheimer served as associate vice president at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
"Brad has deep experience in finance and investments, including an outstanding record of accomplishment at both DePauw and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology," said Jamie Merisotis, chief executive officer of Lumina Foundation. "His reputation as an innovator, his experience in higher education and the private sector, and his accounting background make him ideally suited for this important role at Lumina."
A graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, Kelsheimer has served in a variety of financial roles, including controller and divisional CFO for Terre Haute-based General Housewares Corp.
