A publication focusing on sports venues has once again ranked Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis the best stadium experience in the National Football League. The home of the Indianapolis Colts has been at the top of Stadium Journey‘s pro football list since it was first published in 2011.
The publication compiles the rankings based on scores from correspondents. Lucas Oil was ranked best of all sports venues by Stadium Journey in 2012 and has consistently been among the highest-rated in the professional sports world.
One correspondent called the Colts’ home a "near perfect game day experience," also touting the fanbase, downtown location, pricing and friendliness of the game day staff.
Stadium Journey ranked each of the 32 NFL stadiums from the 2014-2015 season, which does not include the new U.S. Bank Stadium, where the Minnesota Vikings began playing for the 2015-2016 season, or the next home of the Rams, who are moving to Los Angeles from St. Louis.
The rest of the top five is:
2. M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore (Home of the Ravens)
3. Lambeau Field in Green Bay (Home of the Packers)
4. Heinz Field in Pittsburgh (Home of the Steelers)
5. AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas (Home of the Dallas Cowboys)
