Indiana Wesleyan University has named Matt Lucas chancellor of its National and Global Campus. He currently serves as provost and executive vice president of Corban University in Oregon and succeeds Audrey Hahn, who announced her retirement in March.

The National and Global Campus covers the university’s operations outside of the Marion campus. Lucas will begin his new role as chancellor elect on August 28, working with Hahn to transition into the position. He will assume full responsibility as chancellor October 1.

Lucas’ new position makes him the chief administrative officer of the IWU-National and Global Campus. The campus serves more than 10,000 students at 15 education centers, along with online students from more than 30 countries. It also houses the DeVoe School of Business, the School of Nursing, the School of Health Sciences, the School of Educational Leadership, the School of Service and Leadership, and the Division of Liberal Arts.
