The Town Council of Lowell has appointed D. Jeffrey Sheridan as town manager. He has worked in local government in Indiana for the last 26 years. Sheridan served as the executive director of the Tipton County Economic Development Organization from 2013 to 2016. He was the town manager for Cumberland for eight years and was the first town manager in Culver, Indiana and was director of Municipal Development for Lawrenceburg.
