The private company that operates the Hoosier Lottery has named a new chief operating officer. GTECH Indiana says Colin Hadden will also be general manager. He most recently served as a regional vice president and led the company's partnership with the UK National Lottery. May 22, 2014

INDIANAPOLIS – Colin Hadden has been appointed Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of GTECH Indiana. Hadden is responsible for day-to-day operations for GTECH Indiana in the delivery of integrated services to the Hoosier Lottery. He succeeds Connie Laverty O’Connor who served as GTECH Indiana’s interim Chief Executive Officer and has been appointed to Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer for GTECH Americas. She will continue to support Indiana and other GTECH customers with their sales, marketing, and retail business strategies.

Hadden has more than 20 years of sales and business experience and most recently served as Regional VP, leading GTECH’s partnership with the UK National Lottery, with prior experience working with customers in Finland, Denmark, Ireland and South Africa. Through his previous leadership experience with organizations such as Interwoven Inc., Software AG and Applied Communications Inc., Hadden brings extensive customer relations and operational excellence to the Hoosier Lottery to help drive its growth plan.

GTECH won the contract to become the integrated services provider of the Hoosier Lottery in October 2012. In addition to the Hoosier Lottery, GTECH currently has lottery management partnerships in Illinois and New Jersey.
