Some of the top players in the state’s transportation-related industries are gathering in Indianapolis for the final day of the Indiana Logistics Summit. The 2016 edition features keynote speaker Chip Jaenichen, who serves at the U.S. Maritime Administrator. Inside INdiana Business is covering the summit at the Indiana Convention Center.

Last year’s event brought in a record turnout.

The Indiana Logistics Summit continues through Thursday and is co-hosted by the Ports of Indiana, Conexus Indiana and Purdue University.

For the first year, organizers say professionals could be eligible to earn credits toward industry-recognized certifications.
