Logistics Summit Attracts Record Crowd

This year’s Indiana Logistics Summit drew a record crowd. Organizers say nearly 500 people heard from presenters including executives from Fair Oaks Farms, Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) and NASA.
Other speakers included Hulman & Co. Chief Executive Officer Mark Miles, Indianapolis Colts Chief Operating Officer Pete Ward and Indiana State University Center for Unmanned Systems Director Richard Baker. Topics ranged from the logistics of sports to how drones can help revolutionize the industry.
The summit was co-hosted by Purdue University, the Ports of Indiana and Conexus Indiana, the state’s logistics industry initiative. The event was held September 21-22 at the Indiana Convention Center.
