Loehrer Earns Two Prestigious Awards

He serves as director of the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center. Loehrer has served as cancer center director since 2009.
The Sagamore is the highest honor that Indiana’s governor can bestow upon a civilian. The President’s Medal for Excellence is the highest honor an IU president can bestow.
