JLL Indianapolis General Manager Kim Collins has been named the 2016 president of the local chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management. In the position, the industry veteran will help oversee the education and credentialing process for hundreds of local members in commercial real estate.

Collins has more than a decade of experience in management of office, medical, industrial and retail properties. She has a Certified Property Manager designation was was named IREM’s CPM of the Year in 2014. Her previous experience also includes positions with Indianapolis-based Duke Realty Corp. (NYSE: DRE) and REI Real Estate Services.

IREM is an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS, focusing on real estate management professionals. The organization says it focuses on ethical business practices, maximizing the value of investment real estate and promoting education and information sharing.
