Indianapolis Executive Director Tedd Grain is leaving the organization after 11 years. The organization says Grain has accepted the role of vice president of social determinants of health at Eskenazi Health Foundation and the director of social determinants of health for Eskenazi Health.
Jessica Guilfoy, who serves as vice president of field operations for National LISC, will serve as the interim director for the Indianapolis office. LISC says it has hired a search firm to help fill the executive director role.

In his 11 years at LISC, Tedd Grain has played a significant role in strengthening LISC’s understanding of social determinants of health, and we look forward to continuing this important work with Tedd, in his new role, and Eskenazi in the future.”
Grain will support Eskenazi’s efforts to address a broader range of social determinants of health in order to improve the overall health and quality of life for vulnerable citizens in Indianapolis.
During his time at LISC, Grain launched Bridges to Career Opportunities, convened the collective impact initiative Great Places 2020 and expanded food access and security through founding the Indy Food Council. He also led efforts to create the Small Business COVID Recovery Grant, deploying $5,000 grants to 76 local small businesses.
