Lilly Executive Honored

Darin Moody, senior vice president for manufacturing for Eli Lilly & Co. has been named by Savoy magazine as one of the 2020 Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America. Moody also serves as a trustee for Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
The magazine recognized the group of African American men and women for their executive and business leadership in national and global-leading corporations.
Moody has spent his entire professional career with Lilly, after earning a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 1987 from Rose-Hulman. He started as a process design engineer within the corporate engineering organization before spending three years as general manager of a plant in Liverpool, England. Moody returned to the company’s headquarters in Indianapolis as an operations general manager and then vice president of the division overseeing corporate engineering, global health safety and environment.
Moody became a member of Rose-Hulman’s board of trustees in 2007, serving on oversight committees involving audit, board affairs, enrollment management and honorary degrees.
