Marketing technology consulting firm Lev has announced plans to relocate its headquarters to Indianapolis. The company, which is currently based in Arizona, says it plans to hire 70 employees this year, part of a previously-announced effort to create up to 175 jobs by 2021. Lev has had a presence in Indianapolis for nearly three years and Chief Executive Officer Michael Burton says, since that time, the company has outgrown every space it has occupied in Indy.
In an interview with Inside INdiana Business Reporter Mary-Rachel Redman, Burton said the decision was an easy one.
"We just have a lot of momentum here with the talent that we’ve been able to bring in," said Burton. "We also think that there’s just a great pool from the universities, so we’ve been doing a whole lot more trying to recruit new college grads that are coming in. It is important to us as being a Salesforce partner to be close to Salesforce and with Indianapolis being its second-largest location, it’s just great for us to be right across the street and be able to work really closely together. So, a lot of those factors just kind of added up."
Lev currently employs 120 workers throughout the country, 70 of whom are located in central Indiana. The company says it provides implementation, strategy, and support for customers who use Salesforce products. Burton says there is a large potential for continued growth.
"What we’re finding is that, where we’re focused in helping marketers best leverage Salesforce, that is driving a lot of our growth," said Burton. "We think we’re just scratching the surface, so we don’t need to go do something crazy and get out of what our niche is. We think we can do what we’re doing now and add a whole lot more firepower and fuel to it and just continue to accelerate our growth just by doing that alone."
Mayor Joe Hogsett helped Lev cut the ribbon for its new office in Regions Tower in downtown Indianapolis, which the company moved into last month.
"Lev has been a fast-growing feature of the vibrant tech landscape here in our city," Hogsett said during a press conference Tuesday. "The truth this, and I cannot emphasize this enough, Lev’s success is Indianapolis’ success."
In addition to its Indy and Arizona offices, Lev also has a presence in El Paso, Texas.
