Lemonade Day Calling on Kids

Organizers are looking for kids who want to learn the basics of entrepreneurship and finance by operating a lemonade stand to take part in the May 21 event.
Lemonade Day Greater Indianapolis is in its seventh year. Organizers are looking to expand the effort and reach more kids throughout the area by identifying "Community Champions" to promote the effort in Fishers, Boone County, Johnson County and Pendleton. Launch Fishers founder and serial entrepreneur John Wechsler will again participate. The others are Zionsville-based Clear Software Chief Executive Officer Jon Gilman, Spencer Management Group CEO Steve Spencer and Anderson Creative owner Arin Anderson.
Carmel-based JD Byrider is joining Eleven Fifty Academy as co-presenting sponsor for Lemonade Day Greater Indianapolis. Organizers hope to have 15,000 participants in this year’s event.
