The Indiana House of Representatives and Indiana Senate will begin the 2014 legislative session Tuesday afternoon. The Indiana House Republican Caucus says lawmakers that cannot be there because of weather will be excused. The session was supposed to begin Monday, but the winter storm caused a delay.

The 2014 session of the Indiana General Assembly will likely focus on issues including the future of the business personal property tax and a proposed amendment to the state Constitution that would further define marriage.
