Danville-based Leadership Hendricks County Inc. has selected Kerry Tuttle as executive director. She served as executive director at the Avon Education Foundation. Tuttle will begin her new role June 5.

LHC is a nonprofit organization that each year takes a class of 20-25 citizens and works to prepare them to become leaders in their communities. Tuttle is a graduate of the organization’s class of 2015. She succeeds Susan Rozzi, who left the organization in March after serving as executive director since September 2012.

Before joining the Avon Education Foundation, Tuttle held a fundraising role with the Indianapolis Zoological Society and served as executive director of Prevent Child Abuse Hendricks County. She also serves on the board of directors for the Indiana Association of Public Education Foundations.
