Nathan Broom will lead the nonprofit, which recruits a class of community members each year to develop ideas and skills to respond to the "challenges and opportunities in Harrison County."
Broom is a co-founder and partner of Louisville-based Oak Seed Inc. which, according to its website, focuses on the restoration of historic buildings in the Old Louisville neighborhood. LHC says Broom has been involved with the Hometown Collaboration Initiative and other efforts since moving to Corydon in 2013.
LHC Board Member Sean Davis says Broom will lead the organization’s efforts to bolster local business and create new opportunities for youth leadership.
