She previously served as vice president for Change Management and Strategic Initiatives.
Also, Matthew Etchison has been promoted to senior vice president and chief information officer and Jonathan Barefoot has been moved to vice president for public safety and emergency preparedness
Moreland has served the college since 2011 in various roles including the associate vice president for process improvement and College-Wide Initiatives. From August 2015 to December 2016, she also served as the lead for workforce alignment operations while the College implemented the Workforce Alignment department and strategy. She holds a master’s degree in public administration from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs and bachelor’s degree in public affairs from IU Bloomington.
Etchison will also continue to serve as the senior information technology administrator. He holds a master’s degree in engineering management from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Barefoot has served in higher education public safety for nearly 15 years as a police officer and emergency manager. He has been with been with the college since 2017. Barefoot holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Western Kentucky University and a bachelor’s degree in homeland security from Eastern Kentucky University.
