LCI Subsidiary to Acquire California Manufacturer

A subsidiary of Elkhart-based LCI Industries (NYSE: LCI) has acquired California-based window manufacturer Hehr International Inc. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, however Lippert Components Manufacturing Inc. says the Hehr team will remain with LCI.
Hehr International makes windows, along with tempered and laminated glass, for the recreational vehicle, transit, specialty vehicle and other adjacent industries. The company operates five facilities within the U.S. and reached $55 million in sales in 2017.
"Hehr’s geographic diversification allows us to better serve our customers. Additionally, their customer base is a great mix of various industries that we know or are targeting for growth," said Scott Mereness, president of LCI. "Hehr is another highly strategic LCI investment. We expect to leverage our purchasing, sales, distribution, and administrative capabilities to improve the profitability of this business."
This is the second acquisition is as many months for an LCI subsidiary. In January, Lippert Components Inc. announced plans to acquire New York-based marine and industrial supplier Taylor Made Group LLC.
