LCI Industries Adds RV Vet to Board

A well-known figure on the northern Indiana recreational vehicle scene is joining the Elkhart-based LCI Industries (NYSE: LCII) board. Grand Design Recreational Vehicle Co. co-founder Ron Fenech, who previously held executive positions with Thor Industries Inc. (NYSE: THO) and Keystone RV Co., will also serve on the LCI board’s corporate governance and nominating committee.

Grand Design RV was acquired last year by Winnebago Industries Inc. (NYSE: WGO) for $500 million in cash and shares. LCI Industries Board Chairman Jim Gero says "we are excited about Ron’s addition to our Board. His deep understanding of the RV industry, leadership skills and strong operating and strategic experience will be of significant benefit to LCI Industries and our stockholders."

Fenech is also on the South Bend-based Beacon Health System board. LCI Industries has more than 50 manufacturing and distribution facilities in the United States, Canada and Italy.
