‘Launch Japan’ Career Day Coming to IUPUI

The event, which aims to connect job seekers, students, and bilingual candidates with businesses, organizations, and educational institutions, will take place at the IUPUI Campus Center.
Vice Governor of Gunma Prefecture, Japan, Keiichi Uruga, will make remarks at the event’s networking reception. Gunma Prefecture owns Subaru Corp., the parent company of Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. in Lafayette.
The program feature a panel on "Developing a Japan-Connected Career" with speakers Kendall Millard from Barnes & Thornburg, Owner and President, Makuta Technics Inc. Stu Kaplan, Interpreter/Coordinator Mindy Linn, and Julianne Medrano, Outreach Coordinator, Japan Information Center, Consulate-General of Japan in Chicago.

The event is held in partnership with the Indiana Economic Development Corp., the Indiana Japan Chamber, the Japan Information Center/Consulate-General of Japan in Chicago and JETRO Chicago, with funding from the Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership.
The event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
