A pharmacy services company in Carmel is nearing completion of a new $10 million facility and cross-county move. Pharmakon Long Term Care Pharmacy Inc. says the Noblesville campus will bring all operations under the same roof and allow for more growth.

The company employs more than 250 and has a presence in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Illinois. The investment includes new technology and infrastructure in the 52,000 square-foot space.

Chief Executive Officer and Owner Paul Elmer says "this facility will be customized and dedicated to provide pharmacy services for the long term care population in Indiana and the surrounding states."

Pharmakon LTC says construction has taken about a year. The project includes additional employee lounge and conference space as well as a training center.

The company has a wide range of packing for medications, including punch-card-style for individual dosage, special compliance packaging and specialized compounded intravenous solutions.
