A Raytheon Co. facility in northeast Indiana will benefit from a more than $250 million U.S. Navy contract. A portion of the work to produce missile and launch systems will be performed at the Fort Wayne operation. September 25, 2014

News Release

Raytheon Co., Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a $251,133,201 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 231 Tomahawk Block IV All-Up-Round missiles for the U.S. Navy (147 vertical launch systems and 64 capsule launch systems) and the United Kingdom (20 torpedo tube launch systems). Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona (32 percent); Camden, Arkansas (11 percent); Ogden, Utah (8 percent); Anniston, Alabama (4 percent); Minneapolis, Minnesota (4 percent); Glenrothes, Scotland (4 percent); Ft. Wayne, Indiana (4 percent); Spanish Fork, Utah (3 percent); Ontario, California (3 percent); Vergennes, Vermont (3 percent); El Segundo, California (2 percent); Berryville, Arkansas (2 percent); Westminster, Colorado (2 percent); Middletown, Connecticut (2 percent); Walled Lake, Michigan (2 percent); Huntsville, Alabama (1 percent); Dallas, Texas (1 percent); Farmington, New Mexico (0.2 percent); and various locations inside and outside the continental United States (11.8 percent); work is expected to be completed in August 2016. Fiscal 2013 and 2014 weapons procurement (Navy) funds, and foreign military sales funds in the amount of $251,133,201, are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchase for the U.S. Navy ($224,536,361; 89.4 percent) and the United Kingdom ($26,596,840; 10.6 percent) under the foreign military sales program. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00019-14-C-0075).
