Langham Elected CICP Chair

Chief Executive Officer Cathy Langham its 2016 chair. Jack Phillips, president and CEO of Roche Diagnostics, will serve as vice chair.
Langham co-founded Langham Logistics in 1988 and also serves on the boards for Conexus Indiana, HH Gregg, Finish Line and Celadon Group Inc. She succeeds Doug Esamann, executive vice president and president of the Midwest and Florida regions for Duke Energy.
"I have had the pleasure of serving on the CICP executive committee and it is now an honor to chair this wonderful organization," said Langham. "CICP and its initiatives are making significant contributions to grow our advanced industries and spur economic development of the Central Indiana region."
The other members of the CICP’s executive committee include:
- Secretary – Steve Ferguson, chairman, Cook Group
- Treasurer – Connie Bond Stuart, regional president, PNC Bank, Indiana
- At-Large – Dick Giromini, president and CEO, Wabash National Corp.
- At-Large – Jeff Smulyan, chairman and CEO, Emmis Communications
- Past Chair – Denny Oklak, chairman, Duke Realty
The CICP is the parent of six organizations focused on agriculture innovation, life sciences, workforce development, advanced manufacturing and logistics, energy technology and information technology. The groups involved in CICP include AgriNovus Indiana, BioCrossroads, Central Indiana Workforce Development Initiative, Conexus Indiana, Energy Systems Network and TechPoint.
The CICP is also leading the development of 16 Tech in downtown Indianapolis.
