Warsaw-based Lake City Bank has opened a second Indianapolis-area office. The company is planning a ribbon cutting Thursday at the new Fishers location. Lake City has nearly four dozen offices in Indiana. January 21, 2014

News Release

WARSAW, Ind. – Lake City Bank announced today that it has opened its second office in the Indianapolis market, at State Road 37 and 131st Street in Fishers. The bank will celebrate with a ribbon cutting event on Thursday, January 23.

“Our commitment to the Indianapolis market continues to grow,” Michael Kubacki, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commented. “We opened a loan production office in Indianapolis in 2006, and a regional headquarters at 96th and Meridian streets in late 2011. Since then we have experienced strong response to our community-oriented, relationship based approach with both our commercial and retail clients.”

“The strength and size of our balance sheet , combined with our positive attributes of a community bank puts us in a unique position,” said David Findlay, President and Chief Financial Officer. “Jason Stewart, our office manager in Fishers, and his team are well situated to get know our clients. That enables us to offer solutions that are based on individual needs. This approach has served us well during our 140-year history in our Northern Indiana markets and is clearly proving to be effective in Indianapolis.”

At the bank's ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, January 23 at noon, visitors will have a chance to see Lake City Bank's 46th office, a 3,700 square foot facility designed to be a comfortable environment complemented by current technology.

“Lake City Bank has experienced the fastest growth in our history in our first Indianapolis office,” Kubacki continued. “We chose Fishers for our next location because the community's impressive growth mirrors our own success in the market. As an Indiana bank serving Indiana communities, we are excited to be expanding in the Indianapolis market.”

Lake City Bank, a $3.2 billion bank headquartered in Warsaw, Indiana, is the fourth largest bank in the state, and the largest bank 100 percent invested in Indiana. Lake City operates 46 branch offices in northern and central Indiana, delivering technology-driven solutions in a client-centric way to individuals and businesses. The bank is the single bank subsidiary of Lakeland Financial Corporation (Nasdaq Global Select/LKFN). For more information visit www.lakecitybank.com.
