The LaGrange County Economic Development Corp. has named Ryne Krock president and chief executive officer. He will become the organization's second leader, succeeding Keith Gillenwater, who left for a similar role with the Economic Development Group of Wabash County. March 25, 2015

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. – The LaGrange County Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryne Krock as its new President /CEO. Krock is a native of LaGrange County and graduate of Lakeland High School. He has worked for the past four years with the City of Toledo where he served in key roles in the Mayor’s Office and the Department of Economic and Business Development. In these roles, he managed business retention, expansion and attraction projects and multiple economic development incentive programs. Krock will receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Toledo this year.

“As the LaGrange County Economic Development Corporation opens this new chapter, the Board and I are confident that Ryne is the right person to lead our organization forward,” said Mark Leu, Chairman of the Board of Directors. “He has a proven ability to communicate and achieve results working with diverse constituencies, and has a passion and vision for our continued prosperity. We believe his leadership is a perfect fit for our continuing mission of improving the business climate and quality of life in LaGrange County.”

Mr. Krock will assume his new role on April 13, 2015
