“Even if your business idea isn’t chosen, participants will benefit from the education and immersive experience,” said Emily Carter, MatchBOX community curator. “This is hands-on learning with great insights from those who have been there.”
The event runs from 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 13 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15 and will be held at MatchBOX Coworking Studio on 17 S. Sixth Street. The cost is $40 and includes all programs and meals. The event is open to anyone who is interested in launching a business.
2014 Lafayette Startup Weekend winner Matthew Brown will give the keynote address. He has since launched NursePass, an app that helps school nurses communicate with parents and track visits.
