La Plaza and Monarca Academy in Indianapolis are planning to announce an anchor partnership for a new public middle school. The organizations say the middle school is inspired by the Latino and immigrant experience.
A press conference will be held Tuesday to provide additional details on the partnership.
The press conference will include remarks from La Plaza President Miriam Acevedo Davis, as well as Brandon Brown, chief executive officer of The Mind Trust, and Francisco Valdiosera, founder of Monarca Academy.
La Plaza is a Latino organization representing central Indiana. The organization says its mission is to strengthen youth, families, and communities through services and community events.
