The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) has reopened its Lebanon location following a $3.4 million revamp. The Cincinnati-based chain says the investment includes renovations to the bakery, meat, produce and deli sections.
Kroger has been unveiling renovations throughout the state in recent years, including work at the New Albany location that was unveiled earlier in the month. Central Division President Pam Matthews says "such investments represent Kroger’s determination to do more than put food on the table. We promise a friendly and caring environment where everything is fresh. We are redefining the grocery experience by making it even easier to enjoy Kroger quality, selection and value."
The company’s Central Division has food, pharmacy and fuel shops in Indiana and Illinois.
