Not only will their compassionate and knowledgeable customer service model enhance our industry-leading pharmacy team, they will reinforce Kroger's comprehensive efforts to offer healthier food choices to customers. We continue to offer hundreds of new natural and organic foods under our Simple Truth banner. Kroger manufacturing has taken steps to produce healthier food, such as low or no sodium canned vegetables. We have moved nutrition information to the front panel of Kroger brand items, in larger font so customers can clearly see how healthy their food choices are. We have leveraged www.Kroger.com and our Kroger app to provide more information on healthy food choices and recipes than ever before. Kroger even redesigned our shelf tag system and signage with wellness in mind. Perhaps most importantly, Kroger invests more generously than any of our competitors in healthy associates. That includes low or no cost preventive care, tobacco cessation programs, weight management and fitness challenges and much more. The Little Clinic will help Kroger accelerate our efforts toward healthier associates and healthier customers.”
“Bringing our business model of convenient, affordable healthcare to Indianapolis is an exciting expansion for us,” said Mike Stoll, The Little Clinic chief executive officer. “The Little Clinic serves as a valuable role in the lives of today's busy consumers who need quality, easily accessible healthcare close to where they live, work and shop.”
