Krieg DeVault LLP has named Dana Ellis chief operating officer. He previously served in similar positions at firms in Los Angeles and in Cleveland. His responsibilities included directly managing all aspects of the firm’s finance, marketing, administration, technology, human resources, risk management, and attorney development departments. Prior to entering the legal industry, Ellis spent 24 years with Arthur Andersen where he was a partner and held a number of regional and national leadership roles. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude) from Bob Jones University. The firm has also added Michael Hooker an associate in the Commercial Real Estate & Lending Practice Group. He previously served as an associate at Wooden McLaughlin LLP where he focused his practice in real estate development and finance. While obtaining his legal degree, Hooker served as a Law Clerk with Gilday & Associates P.C. where he researched a wide range of issues primarily in the areas of taxation and estate planning.
