Koltookian to Succeed Founder Zook as K-Z President
Thor Industries Inc. (NYSE: THO) has named Aram Koltookian president of the Elkhart-based company’s K-Z Inc. subsidiary. He has served as chief operating officer for the recreational vehicle manufacturer since last year. Koltookian will succeed founder Daryl Zook.
Thor says Zook will remain chairman. Koltookian has more than 20 years of experience in the RV industry, including serving as executive vice president of Dutchmen and positions with Keystone and Coachmen RV.
Thor Chief Executive Officer Bob Martin says "the management succession at K-Z highlights the bench strength and depth of talent at Thor. Shortly after the acquisition of K-Z, we were able to transfer Aram from Dutchmen to the new subsidiary, where his talent and experience in product development and sales benefited K-Z and its dealers."
Thor acquired K-Z last year. Zook calls Koltookian an "important part of K-Z" and says "as Aram takes the reins, I feel confident that he brings the right values, skills and clear vision to continue building K-Z and I know that our management team backs him 100 percent."
