Chicago-based JCF Real Estate says JCF Residences at Wildcat Creek will feature one and two-bedroom units and on-site storage facilities.
The 13-acre site is located along Wildcat Creek at 1500 W. Markland Avenue.
“This is a great example of a private investor redeveloping an older neighborhood. It represents another project for repurposing an underutilized, vacant property in our city,” Kokomo Mayor Greg Goodnight said.
Officials say the new development will accommodate the city’s increasing population.
“The city’s positive economic forecast and quality-of-life attracted us to Kokomo. We are extremely confident in our investment in Kokomo. We are excited about developing JCF Residences at Wildcat Creek along the Walk of Excellence and conveniently located near UCT and Highland Park,” JCF Executive Vice President Paul Robertson said.
