Lisa Kobe has been awarded the Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana’s Allen C. Steere Award. She served as director of legislative and regulatory affairs at Duke Energy before retiring after 33 years.

Kobe is the twentieth recipient to be honored with the society’s highest award since 1982. The award was established by Lincoln Financial Group in 1982 in conjunction with the organization of the Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana. Mr. Steere, a Senior Vice President of LFG and the head of its government affairs department at the time of his retirement in 1973, was a recognized leader of government affairs at all levels and the first honorary member of the Society.

The award is intended to recognize and honor those government affairs professionals whose behavior exemplified ethical standards of lobbying.
