News Release

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Klipsch, the leading global speaker and headphone manufacturer, is proud to announce a strategic, three-year partnership that will solidify the brand as the first-ever presenting sponsor of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This monumental partnership unites two music industry legends founded on shared principles of heritage, respect, independence and expression.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Presented by Klipsch Audio marks the 30th anniversary of the Induction Ceremony, celebrating the pinnacle of musical achievement and giving voice to the stories of the people and events that have shaped the musical genre. Only Klipsch can deliver that music exactly how the artist intended it be heard. In addition to their presenting sponsorship of the ceremony, Klipsch's high-performance commercial and home theater speakers, soundbars and headphones will be integrated throughout the Rock Hall's legendary Museum and the new Klipsch Audio Stage at the Rock Hall to ensure powerful, detailed and emotional listening experiences for visiting enthusiasts.

“This is an ideal partnership for our Classic American Speaker Company,” says Matt Sommers, Klipsch VP of Marketing. “Klipsch was founded the better part of a century ago to bring the live music experience into people's living rooms. Our founder, Paul W. Klipsch, made it his life’s goal to create speakers that rock. His 'no nonsense' attitude (with the science to back it up) changed the way we listen to music today. Many classic albums have been mixed, mastered and enjoyed on Klipsch. Every product we make carries that legendary legacy.”

“Klipsch is really well-aligned with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and all that we represent,” says Steve Dobo, Director of Sponsorships for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. “Every day, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame celebrates the pinnacle of achievement and tells the stories of the music that shaped our lives. That commitment to a high standard of musical excellence is at the heart of both of our brands and gives us an incredible foundation on which to build.”
