(NYSE: K) has revealed the timeline for layoffs at its plant in Vigo County. In a notice to the state, the company says 92 employees will be out of work, beginning in mid-August.
Kellogg says 83 employees will be laid off between August 13 and 26. Another nine will be let go between September 3 and 23. All of the layoffs are expected to be permanent.
The company says the plant’s closure is "due to capacity constraints in its cracker network." Kellogg announced the closure of the Seelyville Bakery in August 2016, saying it had more capacity than was required to meet demand.
Kellogg acquired the former IndyBake Products plant in 2008.
