The Junior League of Indianapolis has selected Christina Hale as the inaugural recipient of its Woman of the Year award. She is currently CEO of Leadership Indianapolis. Hale is a former two-term state representative and co-founder of the Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault. She also serves on the boards of the National Association of Latino Elected Officials, Indiana Humanities, Indiana Commission on Latino Affairs, Domestic Violence Network, Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault, Heartland Film and Film Indy. Hale has dedicated much of her career as an advocate against sexual assault.
