JourneyGuide Promotes Trimble to CEO

JourneyGuide in Fort Wayne has promoted Derek Trimble to chief executive officer. The startup is a spin-out of Ash Brokerage that is launching its retirement income planning software. After years of research and design, and a very successful beta release, the move is being made to provide laser focus on the software business, allowing JourneyGuide to have a greater impact on financial advisors and their clients.

Trimble previously served as vice president of innovation and managing director.

JourneyGuide’s retirement income planning software will be released in the third quarter.
