The concert will be a highlight of the events leading up to the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 on May 29.
Carb Day is set for Friday, May 27. General admission tickets are $30 and available online. Carb Day will also feature an hour of driver practice, the annual Pit Stop Challenge and the Indy Lights Freedom 100 race.
Journey was formed in 1973, and has since sold 80 million albums. The band has earned 19 Top 40 singles and 25 gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums. The Carb Day concert will feature founding member and lead guitarist Neal Schon, original member and bass player Ross Valory, and longtime lead singer Arnel Pineda and keyboardist Jonathan Cain. Drummer Steve Smith will also perform with the band for the first time since 1998.
