Jonathan Byrd’s Out at Grand Park Facility

Grand Park in Westfield has confirmed that Greenwood-based Jonathan Byrd’s is no longer operating out of the Grand Park Events Center. The food service provider had been operating concessions at a restaurant inside the facility, which opened in July.
Grand Park says its outdoor concession managing partner, Urick Concessions, has taken over indoor concession operations at the facility. Meanwhile, the city has entered into a short-term agreement with Westfield Restaurant Group LLC to operate the events center’s restaurant and lounge.
"While we appreciated our relationship with Grand Park, it was during an evaluation of our long term business plans that we determined the company would no longer remain at the Park," Byrd Enterprises said in an email to Inside INdiana Business.
Westfield spokesperson Erin Murphy says the city is negotiating with Westfield Restaurant Group on a long-term deal what would include a food court-style service inside the facility. However, she says those details are "still being worked out."
Jonathan Byrd’s currently has naming rights on the Jonathan Byrd’s Fieldhouse at Grand Park, though it is not known if the name will be retained going forward. "While we continue to operate concession services at the Fieldhouse, in co-operation with the owners we are also evaluating this in conjunction with all of our long term business strategies."
The company had also entered into a joint venture with Indianapolis-based LST Marketing LLC to manage commercial business and marketing for the Grand Park Events Center.
