Indiana Electric Cooperatives has named John Gasstrom chief executive officer. He previously served as director of compliance at Georgia System Operations Corp. Gasstrom has more than 25 years of energy industry experience. He joined GSOC in 2002, where he was responsible for the activities of the compliance department, including bulk electric system reliability and critical infrastructure protection compliance and corporate ethics.
 
Gasstrom holds a bachelor’s degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in electrical engineering and an MBA with a focus on technology management from the University of Phoenix.
