Job Fairs Range from Pasta to Popcorn

From a high-end grocery store and restaurant to a cabinet manufacturing plant and popcorn maker, Hoosiers have a range of jobs to explore Tuesday in two separate job fairs. Carmel Market District and its incoming restaurant Osteria Carmel are hosting an in-person hiring event, as is WorkOne Northeast in Grant County.
Carmel Market District is looking to fill nearly 50 retail and restaurant positions. Jobs include personal shoppers, deli and prepared foods clerks, cashiers, bakers, baristas, meat cutters, and cooks for Osteria by Fabio Viviani.
In July, Carmel Market District, a subsidiary of Giant Eagle Inc., announced it was transforming its former Table by Market District restaurant into a new restaurant space, Osteria by Fabio Viviani. Owned and operated by Fabio Viviani Hospitality Group.
The hiring event is today and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Carmel Market District. Candidates will meet with recruiters and have the opportunity for same-day job offers. All event participants will be encouraged to wear a mask or other face covering.
