More than 70 employers are set to take part in a job fair next week in Fort Wayne. Organizers, including Congressman Marlin Stutzman (R-3) and IPFW, say the companies are looking to fill more than 2,400 jobs.

The job fair is scheduled for Monday, August 8 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the Walb Student Union on the Fort Wayne campus. The event will also feature interview training and information about networking opportunities.

The interview training session, sponsored by WorkOne Northeast and IPFW Career Services, runs from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Walb Student Union. It will include information on how jobseekers can highlight their experience and qualifications, create a positive impression on employers and build a professional network.

Both the job fair and training session are free and open to the public. You can see the current list of participating employers by clicking here.
