Greensburg, Ind. – A major Job Fair will be held in Greensburg Decatur County, Indiana on Thursday, April 17, 2014. This event will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Greensburg City Hall Auditorium, 314 West Washington Street. The Economic Development Corporation (EDC) of Greensburg Decatur County, Greensburg Decatur County Chamber of Commerce, Ivy Tech Community College, Indiana Region 9 Workforce Board, and the Greensburg Daily News are partnering to host this event.
EDC Executive Director Marc Coplon said that “In 2013, Decatur County’s job growth rate was the second highest of all Indiana counties. Therefore, we’re helping our employers find qualified people for these new jobs. This Job Fair will provide a great opportunity for employers and job seekers to discuss new job possibilities in face-to-face conversations.”
Exhibiting employers include such companies as Honda, Delta Faucet, Hitachi Powdered Metals, GECOM, OSL, Indiana Assemblies, MainSource Bank, Fifth Third Bank, Crowne Point Senior Living, Obermeyer Agri Group, Corya Farms, and staffing agencies from the region.
Over 150 jobs will be available including machine operators, production associates, equipment maintenance technicians, welders, general labor, engineers, sales, clerical, restaurant workers, hospitality workers, supervisors, accountants, purchasing agents, call center reps, bank tellers, CNA’s, RN’s, LPN’s, family case managers, and more!!!
Exhibitor space is available on a first come, first served basis. There is no charge for direct employers or job seekers at this Job Fair. It is highly recommended that those seeking jobs bring a current resume and dress appropriately for interviews.
